Ella's class has a tricky, mischievous little Leprechaun that shows up every St. Patrick's Day and makes a big mess in their classroom. They are trying to trap him this year and make him clean up his mess. Each Kindergartner made a trap to put in the classroom tonight in hopes of catching the leprechaun. Here is a picture of the trap Ella and I built.
We made a Rainbow and sparkled grass with a gold path to catch his attention. Then to bait him into the trap we made a very convincing pot o' gold. At the top of the rainbow there appears to be some clouds but really those clouds hide a cage that will drop down and capture the tricky leprechaun when he tries to move the pot o' gold.
